Bio
My name is Bolade Ajomale, I was born in London, England. I grew up in Lagos, Nigeria until I moved to Canada at age 10. Some of my hobbies include listening to music, creating video/ audio content, reading and watching comics (DC to be exact) and traveling.
Now 28, I’ve been competing internationally for Canada since I was 16. Which included 2012 & 2014 World Junior Championships(Semi-Finalist), 2015 World University Games(Semi-Finalist), 2016 World Indoor Championships (Semi-Finalist), 2016 Olympic Games (Bronze), 2017 World Relay Championships, 2017 World Outdoor Championships (Finalist), 2018 NACAC (Gold), and 2019 Pan-Am Games (Finalist), 2021 Olympic Games, 2022 World Indoor Championships(Finalist), and the 2023 World Athletics Championships (Semi-Finalist).
I went to school and graduated with a BA in Multi-media Communications and Technologies, from The Academy of Art University. While there I competed in the Pac-West Conference within the NCAA Division II. As far as accomplishments go I am a High school OFSAA champion, 18x Pac-West Conference Champion, 20x All-American, 10x NCAA Champion, 3x NCAA D2 track athlete of the year, National Champion, 2x World Championship Finalist, NACAC Gold Medalist, and an Olympic Bronze Medalist.
I am currently training at the Athletics Canada East Hub in Toronto as a professional athlete, with hopes of qualifying for the 2024 World Indoor Championships, 2024 World Relay Championships and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
