Donegal/Derry Vipers Flag Team

The Vipers Flag team was established in 2020. In our first year of Division One Flag Football we won a promotion to the Premier Division, subsequently in the 2022 season we retained our Premier Division status and made it to the National Finals and our now ranked 4th in Ireland, which is a brilliant achievement as we competed against teams that have been playing for 10+ years.

The Vipers Flag Team is managed by a volunteer team of coaches and dedicated staff. In the 2023 season we in the Vipers Flag management want to grow the team and have the goal of starting a seconds’ team in Division One.

Our aim is to provide an instructive environment for our new recruits, as well as fielding a competitive Premier Division team that enjoys success locally and regionally.

Your contributions will be targeted exclusively to lessen the growing costs of the team, enabling all players to fully participate in team training programs as well as local, regional & international tournaments.

Our primary revenue source is registration fees paid by players. 

Since these funds do not cover all of the team's operating expenses, our players' often must raise their own funds to pay for equipment, training fees, travel, and tournament entry fees. The average cost per player per year to participate in all activities is approximately (£1000), which is particularly difficult for families with more than one player and/or modest means.
