Summary

We are the Grand Canyon University Roundnet team. We play Roundnet (Spikeball) at the National level against teams across the country.

Description

The GCU roundnet team was ranked 16th in the country going into 2020. We play in tournaments around the country, as well as host our own tournaments which gives us and our sponsors good exposure. Furthermore, our team from 2020 is returning as seniors who play at the premier level, giving us a good run for a national championship for the 2021-2022 schoolyear.

The roundnet scene is made up of a tight knit group of athletes that are about forming relationships and helping the community. Our Instagram is followed by clubs from over 17 countries and 25 states, and we have relationships with the leaders and athletes from these clubs. The tournaments that we attend and host have over 100 athletes participating with a good amount of spectators watching as well. Lastly, the college roundnet Nationals is broadcasted nationwide by ESPN, who received over 1.5 million views for the most recent college championship broadcast.
