Summary
Description
The hockey club Keerbergen Tigers has organically grown to a financially healthy club with around 400 members today. The focus in the past was to establish a club that provides a qualitatively good hockey education to the youth in the neigourhood.
In 2019 the second field, a waterfield, is installed and it is the kick-off for the "future of the club". With this infrastructure, the club has layed the foundation for further growth towards 800 members until 2022. The club managemement has furthermore approved an ambitious plan - both sportive and financially - to lead the first ladies and gentlemen team's to Belgian's national hockey divisions.
Part of this plan is not only the further development of the work around the youth teams with trainers attracted from established Belgian clubs, but also the construction of a club house. The club house will not only serve as meeting point for teams but will also be the pivotal point for the social health of the club while generating income from hospitality and events.
