Description

My name is Kilian Käding, I’m a 17 year old canoe slalom athlete from Leipzig. In 2024, I won the bronze medal with the German U18 team at the European Championships in Krakow and qualified for the 2025 World and European Championships in Kayak Cross (CSLX), an exciting new Olympic discipline.

I fell in love with the sport very early –> the first time I went down a whitewater channel was at the age of three, sitting in my father’s life jacket on the course in Prague. That moment shaped my passion for canoe slalom. Since then, the water has been my second home.

One of my favorite feelings is the silence and focus right before a race starts, when everything else fades away and it’s just me, the water, and the course.

My dream is to one day compete at the Olympic Games. To reach that goal, I train daily and compete at the highest national and international levels. I’m looking for strong partners who want to support this journey – financially or through equipment and materials.
