Pickleball Bulgaria

Pickleball Bulgaria is the national organization dedicated to developing and promoting pickleball across the country. We are building the sport from the ground up — establishing courts and facilities in major Bulgarian cities, growing local communities of players, and organizing tournaments as pickleball rapidly gains popularity nationwide.

2026 marked a milestone for Bulgarian pickleball: for the first time, Bulgaria sent a national team to the Pickleball World Championships in Da Nang, Vietnam, competing against teams from over 80 countries — and finished among the top 16 in the world, a remarkable achievement for a debut appearance. Our top singles player reached the semifinals in the highest professional category, going head-to-head with some of the best players on the planet.

This success reflects the strength and potential of the sport in Bulgaria. We already have standout competitors capable of representing international brands on the world stage — at tournaments across Europe and beyond — if given the right financial support.
