Hello! My name is Zoë Thoma. I'm reaching out today to talk about the Galena Grizzlies 2022-2023 cheerleading season. The Galena High School cheerleading team consists of student athletes from Galena High School who recognize the importance of academics, as well as school spirit. The Galena High School Cheerleading Team is ready to take our program to the next level. Under new coaching and guidance over the last couple of years, our coaches are ready to introduce our program back into the competitive cheerleading scene and gain the recognition that Galena Cheer deserves. Before we can compete successfully, our program needs a few things to help us perform and compete at the desired level. Our program is in desperate need, since the mats we currently have are outdated, falling apart, and take way to much time to set up and break down. mats are an essential item for competitive cheer teams as these mats provide a safe surface to perform and practice our routines, stunts, and tumbling. Other items we are looking to purchase this season are things like, a new mascot costume, new signs, flags, and other spirit raising props that will help elevate our performances. in addition to all of the items on our wishlist our program is seeking business sponsorships to help offset the costs associated with the upcoming season. if you choose to donate $75-$150 or for a donation if $151 or more your business and or name will be featured in the annual sponsor banner and our travel team t-shirts, which will be worn by all of our athletes at all competitive events, recognizing your business as a sponsor of our program. The requirements are currently each individual athlete raises $250. But each athlete who raises over the benefits go to my costs like cheer camp, my uniform, practice wear, pom poms, warmups, bows etc. All together the total outcome is $700.
